Influence of mold temperature control on the processing of silicone liquid mold
Liquid silica gel is a thermosetting material. The curing reaction of liquid silica gel injection mold occurs at the mold temperature of 120-150 ℃, and the mold temperature control is very important.
1. Mold surface temperature should be stable
If the surface temperature is too high, the products will be scorched, the parting line will crack, and the products will become brittle.
If the surface temperature is too low, the curing speed of rubber compound is slow, and the product can not be demoulded;
2. The temperature of the mould should be heated evenly
The uneven heating and large temperature difference of the mold will make the rubber flow unstable, which is easy to cause air entrapment and insufficient injection
3. Location of heater
Sufficient distance should be kept between the heater and parting line to prevent the template from warping and deformation, resulting in overflow burr of finished products;
4. Comparison of mold temperature control heating methods
1) Heating of heating rod:
The heating rod is drilled by gun drill. The gap between the heating rod and the hole will lead to uneven heat transfer, and the heating rod is easy to be damaged. Moreover, multiple groups of heating rods share a set of temperature sensing, so the damage of the heating rod cannot be detected and the mold temperature is uneven. Choose carefully.
2) Heating plate heating:
The heating plate is designed at the bottom of the mold core, which is close to the mold core. The heating plate is designed with independent temperature sensing and closed-loop design to ensure that the temperature is controllable and the temperature of the heating plate is uniform. Recommended.
